Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Stormfire website, dashboard, and API services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Stormfire ("Stormfire", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Stormfire provides programmatic access to third-party and aggregated large language model (LLM) and related AI APIs through a unified, OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Access is sold as prepaid usage credits. We are an independent reseller and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any upstream model provider.
2. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and API keys.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- One person or entity may not operate multiple accounts to abuse promotions, free credits, or rate limits.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others.
- Generate or distribute content that is unlawful, that sexually exploits minors, or that facilitates violence, weapons, or other serious harm.
- Send malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, scrape abusively, or attempt to breach the Service or upstream providers.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw API access in a way that violates upstream provider terms.
- Circumvent usage limits, billing, or security controls.
You are also responsible for complying with the usage policies of the underlying model providers your requests are routed to.
4. Credits, Billing & Payment
- Access is prepaid. Credits are added to your balance after successful payment via a supported payment method (including cryptocurrency and, where available, card payments processed by our payment partners).
- Prices are shown at checkout and may change prospectively. Consumption is metered per request based on model and token usage.
- Card payments may be processed by third-party merchants of record (for example, Paddle) who act as the seller of record for those transactions. Their terms may additionally apply to that payment.
- Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
5. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Upstream providers may change, deprecate, rate-limit, or remove models at any time, which may affect availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that any specific model will remain available.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-generated output may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing and validating any output before relying on it.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stormfire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create risk for us or upstream providers. You may stop using the Service at any time. Refund eligibility on termination is governed by our Refund Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund for prepaid credits purchased on Stormfire. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Unused Credits
You may request a refund of unused prepaid credits within 14 days of purchase. The refund is issued for the unused portion of that purchase, back to the original payment method where possible.
2. Consumed Credits
Credits that have already been consumed by API calls are non-refundable, because the corresponding service has already been delivered and we have incurred upstream costs on your behalf.
3. Service Failure
If you were charged for requests that failed on our side (for example, credits deducted for a request that returned a server-side error attributable to Stormfire), contact us and we will investigate and credit or refund the affected amount.
4. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@stormfire.io from the email address registered to your account.
- Include your account email, the approximate purchase date, and the reason for the request.
- We aim to respond within 3 business days and to process approved refunds within 5â10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
5. Card Payments (Merchant of Record)
Where your payment was processed by a third-party merchant of record (for example, Paddle), refunds are issued through that processor and are subject to both this policy and the processor's terms. Processing times may vary.
6. Cryptocurrency Payments
Cryptocurrency payments are refunded in the same cryptocurrency, valued at the amount originally received. Due to exchange-rate volatility and network fees, the fiat-equivalent value at the time of refund may differ from the value at purchase, and network fees are deducted from the refunded amount.
7. Abuse
We may decline refunds where we detect fraud, abuse of free credits or promotions, or repeated buy-use-refund patterns.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Stormfire ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to the Stormfire website, dashboard, and API.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: email address and, for card payments, billing details collected by our payment processor.
- Usage data: API request metadata such as timestamps, model requested, token counts, and status codes, used for metering and billing.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/user-agent, and similar logs used for security and abuse prevention.
- Payment data: we do not store full card numbers. Card payments are handled by third-party processors (for example, Paddle); cryptocurrency payments are handled on-chain and via our crypto payment provider.
2. API Request Content
The prompts and content you send through the API are transmitted to the upstream model provider(s) required to fulfil your request. We do not use your API request content to train models. Request content is processed to deliver the Service and may be transiently logged only as needed for delivery, debugging, and abuse prevention.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, meter, and bill the Service.
- To secure the Service and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account, including service and onboarding emails.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We share information with: upstream AI model providers (to fulfil requests); payment processors (to take payment); and infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery). We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Security and usage logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@stormfire.io.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and basic site functionality. We do not use them to sell your data.
8. International Transfers
The Service operates globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable measures to protect it in line with this policy.
